Shri Kailash Chandra founded the company in 1946 along with his sons. The company was originally known as Kailash Chandra and Sons. A lawyer by qualification, he was well educated and very dynamic in his times. He realized that the country lacked the infrastructure to manufacture goods and decided on bridging the gap that existed. A well-known philanthropist of the town, he played a major role in changing the name of Yamunanagar from ‘Abdullahpur’ after independence.
With over 40 years of experience in the industry, he has led the company through some of its most challenging times and enabled it to emerge stronger. His global perspective has seen the company expand its horizons beyond domestic frontiers.
A technocrat having a Mechanical Engineering Degree from NIT Kurukshetra, he is the backbone of the company and has successfully led the company to be a landmark in the field of quality manufacturing. With his strength and vision the company entered the hydro sector which now accounts for most of its annual turnover.
